My Pineapple Express experience
Last weekend, my wife and I held a house warming party.
It was our first time hosting a party as a couple, so there was a lot of prep.
From cooking dinner, prepping beverages, to making edible brownies.
If you don’t know already, weed is legal in Canada. I’m not much of a smoker but was open to trying edibles.
So for the party, I got some THC oil and brownie ingredients. I mixed the two and voila! I created edible brownies with ice cream.
After dinner, people ate this dessert.
And for whatever reason, I forgot to get a piece for myself. I was annoyed but whatever.
Anyways, after a couple of hours, the THC started kicking in. The usual happened, people feeling good, giggling, and having interesting conversations.
Then things started getting a little weirder.
My wife was feeling a little anxious, but I brushed it off. One of our older guests got up suddenly and ran to the washroom.
I didn’t think much of it until he started puking.
And when I mean puking, this guy lost his dinner, lunch, breakfast, and his meals from the past two weeks.
He went on to puke for hours.
My wife and her friend start getting anxious and panicking. They weren’t liking the high anymore.
I was wondering why everybody was tripping out. So I decided to see how much THC was in the oil. It said it had 19.9mg/mL, and I used 38 ml.
That’s when I realized, I used too much of a high THC oil.
In that instance, I had to ensure everybody was okay.
I called the paramedics for my friend and his nonstop puking. I assured my wife and her friend they were going to be okay, so I gave them juice and water to reduce their highs.
In the meantime, I was ensuring my friend puking in the washroom was breathing whenever he wasn’t puking.
I had to be on high alert until the paramedics came.
But I will admit, my wife and her friend were so stoned that they were laughing during inappropriate times, and they were getting on my nerves.
Even when the paramedics came, they were just giggling and laughing at the whole situation.
Anyways, to make a long story longer, my friend in the washroom was fine and he passed out eventually. My wife and her friend went to sleep.
Because of my paranoid ass, I couldn’t sleep until everybody left at 4:30 AM in the morning. I had to ensure everyone was breathing after a night of too much THC.
So what’s the point of this convoluted story?
Honestly, just to trust yourself.
I have never dealt with this situation before, but I knew that no matter what happened, I would be okay.
If I didn’t trust myself, I would have added to the panic to all my stoned out guests. But I didn’t and took charge of the situation.
Everybody was grateful that I was the one that was accidentally sober.
You have to understand that life will throw you curveballs.
That’s a fact.
And if you want to ensure that you will have more favorable results, you have to trust yourself.
Because when you do, your thinking becomes more clear, your intuition kicks in, and it will be more natural for you to react appropriately.
A lot of people today go on living their lives not trusting themselves.
And this leads them to freeze when new situations arise. It’s almost as if there is an internal struggle going on that leaves them paralyzed.
Don’t be like that.
Accept the fact that you are smarter and more capable than you know.
Belive that thought and trust yourself.
And if you do, you’ll know, since you will get excited by new situations instead of being afraid.
Life is too short to not trust yourself.
