Some Signs of Inauthentic Living
I’ve been doing a lot of thinking lately.
Mainly to do with authentic and inauthentic living. I’ve been wanting to write about it in detail but having a hard time articulating my thoughts.
So for the time being, I will give you signs of inauthentic living. Look over this list and think about if you’re living a life you will be proud of on your deathbed.
Signs of Inauthentic Living:
- Seeking external validation.
- Looking for others or media for values.
- Changing the way you act around different people.
- Too afraid to get your needs and wants met.
- Never want to rock the boat.
- Caring more about what others think than yourself.
- Relying on others too much in your life.
In a lot of these signs, there is a trend when it comes to inauthentic living, and it’s being too reliant on others.
Authentic living is all about expressing who you are and relying on yourself for satisfaction. You know people come and go, so it’s never best to rely on them 100%.
I am not saying you have to cut people out of your life and all. What I am saying is that you need to live life according to you. People will not always be there for you, but you will always be there for you.
Don’t you ever forget it.
Anyways, that’s it in this short post today.
