What BS internet gurus have taught me
My guilty pleasure is watching videos on Youtube that breakdown scam artists.
Through this rabbit hole, I’ve come to see Dan Lok, Kevin David, Sam Ovens, Iman Gadzhi, and more as scammers. Where they offer a 90% discount off their course, so it’s an easy $997, instead of $9,970.
They go on to promise astounding results with little work. Where you can be your own boss, have financial freedom, have the cars, Instagram thots, and everything else a pre-teen kid dreams about.
And the sad part about all these scams is the fact people still flock to these false dreams. And after losing thousands of dollars, they come to the same realization that people with common sense already knew:
You can’t succeed at anything without putting the necessary work.
There are no short cuts in life. If there is anything you want, you have to put in the work, take risks, and you still might not even succeed. But as you learn more along the journey, the chances of success start increasing.
Rarely does someone hit a home run on their first at-bat.
Nope, you gotta go through batting practice to get better, and then occasionally you’ll hit the home run. And the more times you step up to the plate, the more home runs you will hit.
That’s how it works.
That’s how it always worked.
Put in the work, show up consistently, and after a few stumbles, you will find success.
Nobody will find success sitting at home watching Sasha Gray on PornHub. You will find success when you’re out in the field working. It might not be fast, but you’ll get there.
The reason why I am ranting about all this is that there are too many people who think there are shortcuts in life. Shortcut to riches, girls, and everything.
But this is not true and just in case you were being hard on yourself for not being successful with money, girls, or whatever, I just wanted to let you know that you are alright.
Just keep investing in yourself, be consistent and the world will be yours in your lifetime.
